With over 30 years of pharmaceutical development and manufacturing management experience, Sheldon Huang has made significant contributions to the industry. His extensive tenure includes 20 years in the US-based pharmaceutical sector with Barr Labs/Teva and 15 years internationally with Beijing Yabao Pharma, Beijing Sihuan Pharma, and Suzhou Amerigen. Notable achievements include setting up an analytic laboratory in New Jersey, passing FDA inspections with zero 483 observations, and establishing R&D labs and manufacturing sites meeting cGMP standards within tight timelines. Sheldon’s leadership led to the successful construction of formulation R&D, solid dosage, oral solution, and medical device manufacturing lines. He also spearheaded the construction of a greenfield FDF pharmaceutical manufacturing site compliant with US cGMP regulations in Asia. Additionally, Sheldon has supported numerous proprietary product development programs, including those involving Ring technology, biological (live virus), and contraceptive products. He holds a B.Sc. in Analytical Chemistry from Guangzhou Chemical Engineer College, completed advanced studies in Organic Chemistry at Brooklyn College of City University, and earned an MBA from Long Island University.
