Vadims Dvornikovs, Senior Director of Business Development at Agno Pharma, brings over 20 years of expertise in organic synthesis and process development and validation. His journey in chemistry commenced in childhood, inspired by observing the intriguing reactions of baking soda and vinegar in his mother’s kitchen. Since then, Vadims has excelled in API development and manufacturing from the initial pre-clinical to routine commercial batches. Multiple API programs have been guided by Vadims to successful ANDA applications. He is deeply passionate about creating novel compounds that hold a life-promoting value for people, driving him to excel in designing synthetic routes, managing process development activities, and gaining all the necessary knowledge for regulatory filings. With a proven track record spanning roles at Mersana Therapeutics, Nitto Avecia, Johnson Matthey, and Vertex Pharmaceuticals, Vadims is dedicated to providing exceptional service to clients. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Cincinnati in Organic Chemistry and a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Latvia. Based in the New England area, Vadims is committed to driving innovation in the pharmaceutical industry.
